Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation (TGWHF) raises funds for research, education, and the enhancement of patient care across a number of Toronto hospitals and their research and educational arms. Toronto General Hospital has been ranked fourth best in the world by Newsweek Magazine. The hospital earned this acknowledgement for its world-leading department of surgery, cardiac and transplant centres, as well as its excellence in the fields of endocrinology, autoimmunology, and diabetes in addition to its work to provide access to high-quality care for patients in remote communities. Accelerating the pace of all hospitals’ capabilities has always been important to public health, and our team’s efforts are already helping TGWHF drive research forward and support the most urgent needs at this critical time.
